About the Job

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong Financial Accountant to join a busy finance team. The role will suit an experienced professional who is comfortable working independently while contributing to wider team objectives.
Duties will include:
*Preparing and submitting VAT returns in line with current regulations
*Managing Postponed VAT Accounting (PVA)
*Completing annual P11D submissions
*Posting and reconciling prepayments, accruals and expense journals
*Maintaining the fixed asset register
*Processing accrual imports and general ledger journals
*Performing detailed balance sheet reconciliations
*Assisting with month-end and year-end close procedures
*Using Sage extensively for financial reporting and transactional processing
About the Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will have at least three years of experience in a similar Financial Accountant position, with strong technical VAT knowledge including PVA. Advanced Excel skills are essential. Experience using Sage and a familiarity with post-Brexit processes would be beneficial. You will be detail-focused, organised and confident working within a fast-paced environment.
