Weekly Hours: 37 hours per week
Salary: £28,000

Job Purpose

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Learning & Development Coordinator to join our People Team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative and coordination experience who is passionate about supporting colleagues’ development and creating a seamless learning experience.

You’ll play a key role in coordinating training activity, maintaining compliance records, supporting onboarding, and ensuring our learning initiatives run efficiently and professionally.

Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Learning & Development Lead, you will:
*Coordinate end-to-end logistics for training and development activities
*Manage mandatory and Health & Safety training compliance
*Maintain the training matrix and Learning Management System (LMS)
*Support onboarding and induction programmes
*Manage the L&D mailbox, providing first-line advice and support
*Track training spend, process invoices, and liaise with Finance
*Produce L&D reports, dashboards, and compliance data
*Promote learning initiatives through internal communications
*Support apprenticeship and structured learning programmes
*Work collaboratively with managers and external training providers
Candidate Profile
*Experience in an administrative or coordination role (ideally within L&D, HR, or a people-focused function)
*Experience coordinating training bookings, calendars, or events
*Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*Confidence using Microsoft Office
*Understanding of confidentiality and data protection principles
*Experience using an LMS
*Exposure to Health & Safety compliance monitoring
*Experience managing purchase orders and invoices
*CIPD Level 3 (or working towards)
*Understanding of the L&D cycle and learning impact measurement
