Senior Accountant - Independent Accountancy Practice

£30,000 - £40,000 DOE

Butler Rose Public Practice is pleased to be supporting a small independent accountancy practice in Aylesbury in their search for a Senior Accountant to join their team.
This role would suit a practice-trained accounting professional who enjoys working in a close knit environment with a supportive and friendly team. You’ll need to have strong experience managing a varied client portfolio and delivering year-end accounts, tax, bookkeeping services and supporting junior team members.

Key Responsibilities
*Prepare and review year-end accounts for a varied client base
*Prepare corporation tax computations and CT600s
*Produce management accounts
*Complete personal tax returns
*Prepare and submit VAT returns
*Provide bookkeeping and payroll services
*Act as the main contact for a portfolio of clients
*Support junior team members

Key Requirements
*MAAT/AAT Level 4 qualified OR ACCA/ACA part-qualified/qualified
*Strong practice experience (5+ years)
*Confident with IRIS, CCH, Xero, Sage and cloud accounting software
*Experience managing a large client portfolio
*Strong communication skills and attention to detail
