Recruitment Solutions (NW) Limited are working on behalf of a well established, forward thinking independent firm to appoint an experienced Audit & Accounts Client Manager to join their Business Services team. This Audit & Accounts Client Manager position offers the opportunity to manage a varied portfolio of owner managed businesses, take ownership of audit and accounts delivery and play a key role in supporting and developing a growing team. The Audit & Accounts Client Manager will work closely with senior leadership, contributing to both compliance and advisory services.
Audit & Accounts Client manager – The Role
• Take responsibility for delivery of accounts and audit compliance services across your portfolio
• Review financial statements and tax computations
• Prepare management accounts and statutory accounts for non audit assignments
• Prepare corporation tax and sole trader tax computations
• Oversee VAT returns with support where required
• Plan, manage and complete audit assignments
• Support on ad hoc technical and advisory projects
Audit & Accounts Client Manager – Technical experience
• Strong working knowledge of UK Financial Reporting Standards
• Strong understanding of ISAs
• Solid knowledge of corporation tax, personal tax and capital gains tax
• Good VAT knowledge
• Experience using statutory accounts, corporation tax and audit software
• Confident using Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Commitment to ongoing professional development
Audit & Accounts Client Manager– Management Responsibilities
• Oversee delivery of compliance and added value advisory services
• Support Directors in managing and developing your immediate team
• Conduct performance reviews and provide mentoring
• Help drive a consistent approach to systems and processes
• Manage portfolio WIP, debtors and relevant KPIs
• Assist with recruitment and internal job management
• Support delivery of the wider business strategy
Audit & Accounts Client Manager – Business development
• Attend networking events where appropriate
• Support marketing initiatives
• Deliver internal and external presentations
