Description
*Manage procurement strategies for the IT category to deliver cost savings and efficiency improvements.
*Ensure compliance with all relevant procurement legislation and internal policies.
*Analyse market trends to identify opportunities for better value and supplier performance.
*Collaborate with stakeholders to understand IT requirements and align procurement strategies.
*Negotiate contracts with suppliers to achieve favourable terms and conditions.
*Monitor supplier performance and address any issues effectively.
*Provide expert advice on IT procurement to internal teams and stakeholders.
*Prepare and present reports on procurement activities and outcomes.
Profile
A successful Interim Category Manager - IT/Digital should have:
*Proven experience in IT procurement within the Public and Not for Profit Sectors
*Strong knowledge of procurement legislation and compliance requirements - Including experience with PCR 2015 and PA23
*Exceptional negotiation and supplier management skills.
*Ability to analyse data and market trends to inform procurement decisions.
*Experience collaborating with internal stakeholders to meet organisational needs.
*Excellent communication and presentation skills.
*Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
Job Offer
*Daily rate of GBP 450- GBP 515 (inside IR35).
*Part-time role - 3 days per week
