Description
The successful Group Financial Controller willl:
*Oversee and manage all financial operations, including group financial control and reporting.
*Production of daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly management information, including cashflow and management accounts.
*Ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory financial requirements.
*Management of the external audit.
*Implementing process improvements, automation and efficiency initiatives.
*Ownership of cash management, credit control and invoicing.
*Develop and implement financial strategies to support business objectives.
*Lead and mentor the finance team to maintain high performance and efficiency.
*Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making processes.
Profile
The successful Group Financial Controller should have:
*A recognised qualification in accounting or finance (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
*Strong technical accounting and reporting expertise.
*Proven ability to lead and develop a finance team effectively.
*A passion for continuous improvement, automation and innovation.
*Advanced proficiency in financial systems and software.
