Job Description:
m2r Education are working with an established American and International Baccalaureate (IB) World School in Al Khobar who are seeking a Secondary Principal to lead the IB Secondary Division (Grades 6–12) starting August 2027. This is a strategic leadership position ideal for an experienced educational leader passionate about academic excellence, whole-child development, and international education.
As the Secondary Principal, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the school by fostering academic excellence, developing global citizens, and leading the IB secondary division with purpose and innovation.
Responsibilities:
*Provide instructional and operational leadership for the secondary school, shaping curriculum delivery, teaching quality, and student achievement.
*Lead the IB Diploma Programme (DP) with strategic oversight and high standards of academic rigour.
*Build, mentor, and develop high-performing teaching teams, department heads and support staff.
*Collaborate with the Head of School and Senior Leadership Team on school improvement, accreditation, and long-term planning.
*Foster a safe, inclusive school culture with strong behaviour expectations, wellbeing support and stakeholder engagement.
Requirements:
*Bachelors degree in Education or a related field
*Masters degree in Education or Educational Leadership is highly advantageous
*Minimum 3 years experience as a Secondary Principal within an international school
*Proven ability to lead a secondary school division, with responsibility for academic programs, student wellbeing, staff supervision, and overall school operations.
*IB Diploma Programme (DP) leadership experience. Direct experience in leading or managing the IB DP, ensuring alignment with its rigorous standards and philosophy.
