Group Financial Reporting Manager
80k-90k

Halliday Marx have partnered with a rapidly expanding PE backed business who are looking to hire an Interim Group Financial Reporting Manager on an interim basis for 12 months.
Key responsibilities
*Line management of the Group Accountant, including objective setting and 1on1’s
*Responsible for the review and reconciliation of the monthly consolidation of international group entities
*Responsible for ensuring reporting is done in line with IFRS technical requirements, specifically IFRS 16 and 3 and any new accounting standards
*Responsible for ensuring the IFRS group consolidated and individual UK Group Central entities’ financial statements are prepared, reviewed and signed in accordance with the audit timetable
*Main contact for the auditors and regional finance teams
*Assisting with project management around the half year and year end audit
*Review and sign off audit pack submissions from all subsidiaries
*Provision of further analysis of balances/transactions as needed
*Involvement in ad hoc requests and projects, e.g. drafting accounting papers, implementation of new standards and policies
*Regular liaison with regional finance teams to understand the business, any accounting challenges they face, their time pressures and answer their technical queries
Non negotiable Requirements
*Available to start within 2 weeks
*ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified
*3–5 years post-qualified experience
*Multi currency consolidations
*IFRS statutory financial statement prep

*Private Equity experience
