Hours: 9am - 5.30pm - office based - Flexible working hours available

As a paraplanner you will support financial advisers by conducting research, preparing financial plans, and producing suitability reports in line with regulatory requirements. The role involves analysing client information, cashflow modelling and ensuring recommendations are technically accurate and compliant. Responsibilities:
*Existing client’s portfolio preparation and analysis
*Providing technical support to Advisers
*Completing calculations regarding income tax, IHT, Capital Gains Tax, Lifetime Allowance, Pension Annual Allowance, Carry Forward, Chargeable Gains, Cashflow Modelling etc
*Research and formulate appropriate advice, working closely with the Adviser, to fully understand the client’s needs
*Preparing Recommendation Reports and any additional required documentation
*Ensuring compliance, core values and high standards of service across the board
*Liaising with product providers, clients and account managers
*Ongoing development and understanding of knowledge, financial products and markets, to ensure regulatory requirements and personal development needs
Skills and experience:
*3-5 years’ experience within a paraplanning role and supporting IFA’s
*RO qualifications would be an advantage but not essential if experience can be evidenced
*Organised & methodical
*Strong analytical and numerical skills
*Excellent attention to detail and high standards of accuracy
*Organised and able to prioritise
*Ability to work to deadlines
*Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
*Thrive working as part of a team
*Strong IT skills - MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook
*Experience of IO (Intelliflo) back-office system would be advantageous
*Knowledge or experience across some of the following platforms would also be advantageous; Selecta Pension, Financial Express, Trigold, Assureweb, ExWeb, MiCap. Investment Platforms; Abrdn, Aviva & Aegon
