Vertex Associates are supporting a PE-Backed, Global business looking to hire a Financial Accountant to assist with SOX testing, remediation, and ongoing compliance of SOX controls.

Key Responsibilities
*Perform SOX testing across key business controls
*Identify control deficiencies, document findings, and support remediation
*Re-test remediated controls and track progress
*Support SOX compliance activities
*Test controls within current systems and throughout an ERP rollout
*Provide guidance to stakeholders on SOX requirements and best practices
*Partner with internal audit, finance, IT, and external auditors
Required Experience & Qualifications
*Newly qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CPA or equivalent), with IFRS experience
*Proven experience in: SOX testing and External or internal audit
*Background in a Big 4 / Top 6 firm strongly preferred
*Hands-on business process and internal controls testing experience
Skills & Competencies
*Strong understanding of SOX frameworks and internal controls
*Excellent documentation, analytical, and organisational skills
*Ability to manage multiple testing activities simultaneously
*Strong communication skills with the ability to educate stakeholders
*Detail-driven with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
