Costing Engineer
Roles and Responsibilities
*Collaborate with cross-functional quote teams to develop accurate and timely component, tooling, and capital investment proposals for RFQs and engineering changes.
*Perform detailed technical and cost calculations, including injection moulding machine tonnage and cycle times, while gathering and documenting all required inputs.
*Manage supplier RFQs and compile comprehensive cost calculation documents, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to deadlines.
*Support competitive pricing strategies by identifying efficiencies and preparing customer-facing quotation analysis documentation.
*Provide administrative support, contribute to value-for-money discussions, and deputise for senior sales team members when required.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
*Experience working in a manufacturing environment
*Previous cost engineering experience
*Understanding of CAD (ideally SpinFire)
