Production Operative - Leicester
4 on / 4 off · Days & Nights · Full Time · Temp-Perm
Join a leading UK manufacturer of high-performance composite materials. You’ll be part of a busy, supportive production team creating products used across automotive, aerospace, marine and other high-tech industries. If you enjoy hands-on work, teamwork and learning new skills, this role is for you.
Pay & Shifts
*£12.21 per hour for first 8 hours
*Time + 1/3 for the remaining hours
*£15 daily shift allowance (avg £14.71 per hour)
*12-hour shifts, 4 on / 4 off
*Rotating Days (06:00-18:00) and Nights (18:00-06:00)
*Must be able to work both-no fixed shifts
What You’ll Do
*Operate automated & manual machinery (full training provided)
*Work on raw materials lines and complete finishing processes
*Carry out quality checks and follow production schedules
*Use computer systems for stock checks & data entry
*Keep accurate records for audits
*Move materials using pump trucks/overhead cranes
*General housekeeping & basic maintenance
*Report any issues to your Line Manager
What You Need
*Basic literacy, numeracy & computer skills
*Manufacturing or warehouse experience
*Ability to work 12-hour rotating day/night shifts
*Reliable travel for 6am starts
