The OpportunityA fast-growing, creative business within the luxury events and hire sector is seeking a Warehouse Operations Team Leader / Driver to support daily warehouse operations and maintain exceptional quality standards.
This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced operational environment and enjoys balancing team supervision with practical warehouse and driving responsibilities. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and smooth workflow across cleaning, packing, dispatch, and delivery functions.
Key ResponsibilitiesWarehouse & Team Leadership
*Act as Duty Manager on alternate shifts, supervising warehouse, cleaning, and packing teams
*Support daily workload planning and rostering to ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time
*Oversee quality control processes to maintain premium product standards
*Train and support new and temporary team members in procedures and safety standards
*Maintain a safe, tidy, and organised working environment
Operations & Process Improvement
*Identify and implement practical improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors
*Support stock management processes, including leading sections of bi-annual stock takes
*Assist in maintaining accurate inventory control and reporting
Driving & Logistics
*Carry out deliveries and collections across London when required
*Ensure safe loading and unloading of vehicles
*Maintain vehicle care and compliance standards
Person ProfileEssential:
*Experience working in a warehouse, production, or fast-paced operational environment
*Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail
*Hands-on, proactive approach with willingness to undertake physical tasks
*Reliable, organised, and confident acting as deputy in management’s absence
*Full, clean UK driving licence
*Confident driving large vans (LWB or similar) in London
Desirable:
*Experience in events, rental, hospitality, or logistics environments
*Familiarity with warehouse systems or reporting tools (e.g. inventory or workflow platforms)
