Salary: £45,000 per annum
Hours: 40 hours per week - Daytime operation - No late nights
Bonus: Discretionary annual performance bonus

We’re looking for a strong, commercially focused General Manager to take ownership of a well-established catering operation and lead it with confidence and autonomy. This role is ideal for an experienced hospitality manager seeking structured daytime hours, a work-life balance, and the opportunity to genuinely influence performance without micromanagement.
The General Manager role
*Lead the restaurant operation day to day, setting the standard for service and performance
*Drive financial results through effective labour control, cost management, and stock accuracy
*Analyse performance reports and make informed operational decisions
*Recruit, train, develop, and retain a high-performing Front of House team
*Manage employee relations professionally and work closely with other departments when required
*Ensure excellent guest experience and consistent brand standards
*Maintain full compliance across health & safety, food safety, and internal systems
The successful General Manager candidate
*Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager, General Manager, or Senior Hospitality Manager
*Strong commercial awareness with a track record of managing costs and margins
*Confident people leader with the ability to handle team and guest issues calmly and professionally
*Organised, detail-focused, and comfortable with systems, reports, and admin
*Able to work independently and take full ownership of the business
