Are you a detail-driven finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment? Do you enjoy solving problems, driving process improvements, and supporting a team that keeps things running smoothly? If so, QA Higher Education (QAHE) would love to meet you.
We’re looking for a Senior Accounts Officer to join our Finance team—someone who can bring accuracy, energy, and leadership to our Banking and Treasury operations.
Why join QA Higher Education?
At QAHE, we partner with leading UK universities to help over 17,000 students from around the world achieve their academic goals. Our campuses sit in vibrant city-centre locations, and our mission is simple: unlock access to outstanding higher education for everyone.
Join an organisation where your work makes a genuine impact on students, colleagues, and the future of education.

• Completing bank reconciliations for QAHE accounts
• Managing invoicing and payment postings for the division
• Investigating unreconciled transactions and cash allocation issues
• Delivering accurate month-end duties and senior management reporting

What you’ll bring
• A strong understanding of finance functions
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Office tools
• High accuracy, attention to detail, and numerical competence
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
• Self-motivation, flexibility, and a proactive attitude
• Experience with CRM or accounting systems (desirable)
• Previous supervisory experience (desirable)
Who you’ll work with
• Treasury & Credit Control colleagues
• Wider Finance teams
• External banking representatives
• Internal stakeholders across QAHE
Your impact
You’ll ensure our financial processes remain robust, timely, and efficient—supporting daily reconciliations, cashbooks, and month-end performance.
Equal opportunities & safeguarding
QAHE is committed to creating an inclusive, safe environment for all students and staff. We expect all colleagues to share that commitment and support our safeguarding standards.
Ready to take the next step?
If you’re hardworking, adaptable, and excited by the idea of contributing to a mission-driven organisation, we’d love to hear from you.
Apply today and help us shape the future of higher education.
