A leading specialist in temporary heating and cooling solutions is looking for a fully qualified Commercial Gas & F-Gas Engineer to join their Midlands team.
This is a practical, field-based engineering role working on commercial boiler and chiller plant across installation, service, maintenance and emergency response. The work is hands-on and varied, involving plant rooms, mechanical pipework, and temporary heating & cooling systems across commercial and industrial sites.
The Role
You will be responsible for:
* Installation, service and maintenance of temporary commercial boilers and chillers
* Working on commercial boiler systems and forced draft burners
* Fault-finding across heating, cooling and plant systems
* Mechanical pipework modifications within plant rooms
* Working on chilled water systems, AHUs and associated equipment
* Supporting installation and commissioning of temporary plant
* Attending emergency callouts on a rota basis
* Working across commercial / industrial customer sites throughout the Midlands
* Ensuring all work complies with Gas Safe and F-Gas regulations
This is a hands-on engineering role requiring both mechanical and technical capability — not purely service or commissioning.
What We’re Looking For
Essential
* Commercial Gas Safe (fully qualified)
* F-Gas Refrigeration certification
* Proven experience on commercial boiler systems
* Strong fault-finding across heating / cooling plant
* Experience working in plant rooms / commercial environments
* Full UK driving licence
* Willingness to work overtime and attend call-outs
Desirable
* Experience with chillers, chilled water systems or AHUs
* Mechanical pipework / plant room installation experience
* BMS / controls knowledge
* Oil / dual fuel burner experience
