*Review and analyse legal documents in Portuguese for relevance and confidentiality.
*Provide accurate translations of legal documents from Portuguese to English and vice versa.
*Document Review on eDiscovery platforms such as Relativity
*Dealing with privileged documentation.
*QC checking, first and second level review.
*Communicate effectively with the team and clients in both Portuguese and English.
*Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with care.
*Assist with additional legal tasks as required by the team.
Profile
A successful Portuguese Document Review Lawyer should have:
*Fluency in Portuguese and English, both written and spoken.
*Admitted as a lawyer/solicitor
*Must hold a valid practising certificate (either in the UK or another jurisdiction)
*Document Review in a similar firm
*Strong analytical and organisational skills.
*Attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing documents.
*The ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
