Management Accountant - 9 Month FTC
Salary: £47,000 - £50,000
Start: ASAP
We are seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join a leading university on a 9-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on finance professional who enjoys partnering with stakeholders and driving strong financial planning and reporting.
We welcome applications from candidates who are qualified by experience, part-qualified, or fully qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA).
Key responsibilities * Preparation of monthly management accounts with clear analysis and commentary

* Budgeting and forecasting, supporting financial planning cycles

* Producing accurate financial reports for senior stakeholders

* Variance analysis and performance tracking

* Partnering with clients and budget holders to support decision-making

* Improving financial processes and reporting where possible

About you * Strong Excel skills (essential)

* Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting

* Confident communicator with excellent stakeholder engagement skills

* Proactive, organised, and able to work to tight deadlines

* Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment

*Higher Education experience (desired)
