Job Description:
Legal Officer
We’re looking for a proactive Legal Officer to support a busy property and legal services team. You’ll handle a mix of landlord & tenant work, conveyancing support, legal drafting and internal advisory tasks.
Key Responsibilities
* Interpreting leases and managing consents (subletting, alterations, pets, etc.)
* Handling nuisance cases, covenant breaches and Section 38 repair notices
* Managing licence-to-alter applications with internal teams
* Liaising with solicitors on pre-sale enquiries
* Preparing licences to assign, deeds of covenant and certificates of compliance
* Updating company registers and processing share/membership transfers
* Supporting internal teams with clear legal guidance
* Maintaining accurate files to ISO standards

* Knowledge of leasehold legislation, County Court and Tribunal procedures
