Child & Family Worker | Carlisle & Surrounding Districts Rate: £20 per hour (Umbrella)
Location: Carlisle (Hybrid / Community-based)
Type: Full-Time Contract

We are looking for a Child and Family Worker to join our team in Carlisle. This is a hands-on, community-focused role where you will be the bridge between families and the support they need to thrive.

The Role You will be at the heart of family support, providing practical and emotional guidance:

* Supervised Contact: Facilitate safe, positive sessions between children in care and their birth families, providing high-quality observational reports.
* Multi-Agency Collaboration: Represent the service in Team Around the Family (TAF) meetings and coordinate with schools and health professionals.
* Logistical Support: Safely transport children to essential appointments and contact sessions.
What You Bring * Experience: A proven track record of working with vulnerable children and families.
* Resilience: The ability to handle complex family dynamics with professional composure.
* Communication: Excellent report-writing skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse groups.
* Logistics: A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle (essential for community transport).
