Job Description:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled and motivated professional to join the Education Team as the Principal Adviser for Religious Education, Inclusion and Wellbeing. The postholder will provide strategic leadership, expert guidance and high-quality support to schools and academies. The role is full time 52 weeks per annum and offers hybrid working.

Role Overview The Principal Adviser will lead on Religious Education and inclusion, working with school leaders, clergy, trusts, local authorities and national partners. They will play a key role in strengthening Christian vision, ensuring high-quality RE, and supporting the flourishing of pupils and adults.

Key Responsibilities *Lead RE strategy, providing expert curriculum advice, quality assurance and support with SIAMS preparation.
*Support the development of accurate, diverse and ambitious RE curricula.
*Provide targeted advisory support to schools during times of challenge.
*Contribute to SACRE work and national RE networks.
*Lead strategy for inclusion, dignity, equity and wellbeing, promoting cultures where all can flourish.
*Advise on mental health, belonging and relational flourishing.
*Support schools in meeting the needs of vulnerable and disadvantaged pupils.
*Provide school improvement advice, including self-evaluation and improvement planning.
*Deliver high-quality CPD, training and resources for leaders, clergy and governors.
*Maintain accurate visit records and contribute to wider organisational projects and committees.
*Uphold safeguarding, data protection, confidentiality and health and safety requirements.
*Support the Christian ethos in all aspects of the role.
Person Profile The successful candidate will be:
*An experienced leader in RE, inclusion, wellbeing or school improvement.
*Credible working with senior leaders and able to offer both support and challenge.
*Knowledgeable about Church of England education and committed to the flourishing of all.
*Skilled in collaboration, relationship-building and influencing across a range of partners.
*Reflective, theologically informed and committed to ongoing professional development.
