We’re looking for someone who can wrangle numbers, charm customers, and keep suppliers happy, all while maintaining the very best of attention to detail. You’ll be the financial wizard behind the curtain, making sure invoices fly out the door, payments land in the right place, and everything adds up beautifully at month-end.


What You’ll Actually Be DoingSales Ledger (the money-coming-in bit)
*Send invoices like you’re delivering good news (because you are!)
*Chase payments with the perfect mix of friendly persistence and British politeness
*Keep our customer records so tidy they’d make a librarian weep with joy
*Answer customer queries faster than you can say "net 30 days"
Purchase Ledger (the money-going-out bit)
*Process supplier invoices before they even think about chasing
*Keep suppliers so happy they send you Christmas cards
*Wrangle expense claims from colleagues who’ve definitely lost their receipts
*Allocate payments with the precision of a heart surgeon
The Fun Stuff (okay, it’s all fun)
*Help with month-end close (yes, we said fun—we’re not judging)
*Prepare journals that would make an accountant swoon
*Dive into ad hoc analysis that actually matters
*Occasionally cover cashflow forecasting and VAT returns (thrilling, we know)

*Have actually done this before (or something wonderfully similar)
*Can work independently
*Treat deadlines like they’re carved in stone tablets
*Know Xero like the back of your hand
*Can pivot-table in Excel with your eyes closed
*Actually enjoy talking to people across different departments
