Finance Manager
Annual Salary: Equivalent £50,000

Job Type: Perm, Full-Time
Reed is seeking a Temp-to-Perm Finance Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our client’s finance department. This role is crucial for maintaining the financial health of our group of companies, ensuring accurate bookkeeping, financial reporting, and budget management. The Finance Manager will be the primary contact for all financial queries within the group and externally.


Day-to-day of the role:
· Manage the Finance team responsible for maintaining accounts across the group.
· Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including Management Accounts, Cash Flow analysis, Budget variance, and Bank covenants test.
· Develop and enforce financial policies, establish cash controls, and maintain MIS.
· Collaborate with the group’s managerial team to develop budgets and control spending.
· Ensure compliance with statutory, banking, and other financial standards.
· Manage services provided by external accountants, ensuring the accuracy of annual accounts and timely submissions.


Required Skills & Qualifications:
· Strong understanding of accounting principles.
· Proven experience managing a Finance Team and in financial reporting.
· Excellent skills in Excel and MS Office.
· Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
· Ability to maintain confidentiality and work in a fast-paced environment.
· Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently.
· Minimum of 5 years of experience within a Finance team.
· Desirable: Knowledge of accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or similar. Financial/Accounting qualification.
