SEN Teaching Assistant - Year 1, 1:1 Support
£100 per day, Full time (8.30am to 4.30pm)
Location: North London / Enfield
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experiencedSEN Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with a pupil in Year 1 with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) diagnosis and speech language needs in a primary school located in Camden.
This is a full-time position and would suit an aspiring Speech and Language Therapist looking to gain valuable experience in a supportive and rewarding environment.
Key responsibilities will include:
*Supporting the Year 1 pupil with ASD and speech language needs in their learning and development
*Providing 1:1 support to the pupil as required
*Working with the class teacher and other staff members to ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment
*Assisting with the planning and delivery of lessons and activities
*Supporting the pupil’s emotional wellbeing and mental health
*Liaising with parents and carers to provide updates on progress
To be considered for this role, you must have:
*Experience working with children with ASD and speech language needs
*A passion for working with children and a desire to make a positive impact on their lives
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills
*The ability to work well in a team and independently
*Patience, resilience, and a positive attitude
