Academics, a leading education recruitment agency based in Stoke-on-Trent, is recruiting a passionate and dedicated Science and Maths Teacher for a fantastic Secondary School in Leek. This is a long-term teaching opportunity starting in April 2026.
Job Responsibilities
*Science and Maths Teacher across Key Stage 4
*Planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons
*Creating a positive learning environment and supporting student progress
*Working collaboratively within a supportive department
*Upholding high expectations for behaviour, learning and achievement
Requirements
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
*Degree in a Science or Maths-related subject
*Strong subject knowledge
*Good behaviour management skills
*Experience teaching the UK curriculum (desirable)
*A commitment to raising attainment and inspiring learners
*Able to commute to Leek on a daily basis
