Treasury Associate - Hybrid - Witney / London & Remote
Savant are supporting a long-standing key client in their search for a Treasury Associate to join their UK Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional with strong cash management and banking experience to take ownership of treasury operations within a dynamic and evolving business.
The Role You will be fully responsible for ensuring that payments to suppliers, employees, and regulatory bodies are processed accurately and on time. This position plays a vital role in maintaining strong financial controls, managing cashflow, and supporting wider finance operations.
Key Responsibilities *Prepare and process electronic payments (GBP and foreign currencies)
*Manage supplier, employee, and regulatory payment runs
*Daily reporting of UK cash position
*Prepare weekly cashflow forecasts
*Timely bank postings and bank reconciliations
*Monitor accounts and resolve cash/banking discrepancies
*Manage Direct Debits and support credit card expense processing
*Assist with month-end close and audit documentation
*Liaise with banks regarding account administration and queries
*Provide ad hoc treasury and finance support
About You To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate:
*Proven experience in treasury, cash management, or Accounts Payable within a multi-site or complex environment
*Strong Excel skills (intermediate level) and experience with ERP systems (NetSuite or similar)
*A solid understanding of double-entry bookkeeping and core accounting principles
*Experience with regular reporting and cashflow forecasting
*Excellent attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy and timeliness
*Ability to work proactively, independently, and within a team
*Strong communication skills and confidence liaising with stakeholders and banks
*Adaptability and comfort working in a changing systems environment
