SEND 1:1 Teaching Assistants - Primary (Mainstream)
Location: Croydon, South London
Contract Types: Full-time & Part-time (Monday-Friday commitment)

Are you passionate about making a real difference to children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)?

Tradewind is working closely with a range of mainstream primary schools across the London Borough of Croydon who are seeking dedicated 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistants to support pupils with mild to moderate learning needs, including ASD, ADHD, speech and language needs, and SEMH.
This is a rewarding opportunity to support individual pupils to access learning, build confidence, and thrive within a mainstream classroom environment.
The Role: * Provide 1:1 tailored support for pupils with SEND throughout the school day

* Support learning, emotional regulation, and social development

* Work alongside class teachers and SENCOs to implement EHCP targets and support plans

* Adapt learning resources to meet individual needs

* Promote a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment

The Ideal Candidate: * Holds at least a Level 1 Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or 3 desirable)

* Has previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, ideally within SEND or inclusion

* Confident supporting pupils with additional needs in a mainstream primary setting

* Patient, empathetic, and committed to pupil progress and wellbeing

* Holds an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)

* Available Monday to Friday (part-time roles still require weekday availability)
