Job Description:
Want to be at the heart of a busy sales team, supporting projects and helping deliver results?
Our client is looking for a proactive and customer-focused Internal Sales Support professional to play a key role in supporting our sales function, engaging with architects, designers, and contractors across UK projects, and helping turn opportunities into confirmed orders.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys balancing administrative tasks with customer interaction.
Responsibilities:
*Provide proactive sales administration support to the sales team, handling multiple projects simultaneously.
*Follow up on quotes and tender submissions, ensuring timely communication and accurate tracking.
*Act as CRM Champion, driving system engagement, data accuracy and automation across the sales function.
*Coordinate and manage leads from industry networks, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up.
*Manage professional development activities, including booking sessions and maintaining records.
*Handle customer enquiries ensuring customers get the support they need.
*Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with company procedures.
*Support the sales team with administrative tasks that enable them to close business effectively.
Who They’re Looking For:
*A confident and clear communicator
*Highly customer-focused and enthusiastic
*Able to manage multiple priorities under pressure
*IT literate, particularly with CRMs and Microsoft Office
*A supportive team player with a proactive approach
*Motivated and proud of delivering high-quality work
*Previous sales or internal sales experience, ideally in construction or technical products, desirable
*Familiarity with tender processes and documentation, desirable
