Job Description:
Science Teacher- Liverpool
We are looking for passionate Science Teachers (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics) to join vibrant secondary schools across Liverpool starting immediately after the break.
Whether you’re an ECT looking for a supportive start or an experienced Teacher looking for a change, we want to hear from you.
Requirements:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
*A valid DBS on the update service (or willingness to get one).
*Knowledge of subject and curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
*Deliver clear and engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4.
*Set up and oversee safe practical experiments in the lab.
*Mark student work and provide constructive feedback.
*Manage classroom behaviour to ensure a productive learning environment.
*Follow departmental schemes of work and exam board specifications.
*Work closely with lab technicians to prepare resources for practicals.
*Attend departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum planning.
