Experienced Bookkeeper
Office-Based | Northampton
Circa £28,000 per annum | Full-Time | Immediate Start
Are you an experienced Bookkeeper looking for a stable, long-term role within a growing services business? Our client is a well-established property services company based in Northampton, and they’re looking for a confident, capable Bookkeeper to join a small, friendly accounts team.
The Role
You’ll take ownership of day-to-day bookkeeping, ensuring the smooth and accurate running of the accounts function. This is an office-based role initially, with potential scope for some hybrid flexibility further down the line.
Key Responsibilities
*Managing purchase and sales ledgers
*Bank reconciliations
*Processing invoices and payments
*VAT returns
*Assisting with month-end procedures
*Maintaining accurate financial records
*Supporting the wider team with financial reporting
About You
*Proven experience as a Bookkeeper (essential)
*Confident working independently within a small team
*Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
*Experience with Sage is highly desirable (but not essential)
*Property development, sales or rental sector experience would be an advantage
