Job Description:
Elevation Recruitment Group is delighted to be supporting a successful construction group as they seek to recruit a Regional Finance Manager for one of their sites in Cumbria.
This Regional Finance Manager position will work alongside colleagues across Finance and the wider business, supporting the Regional Head of Finance in delivering high-quality financial outputs and providing insight that helps drive performance. The role offers a blend of hands-on financial management, business partnering, and operational support.

Duties will include: -
*Produce month-end financials for the Region in line with the groups accounting policies and guidance from the Finance Director and Financial Controller.
*Ensure judgements are transparent, well-supported and agreed with the Regional Head of Finance.
*Support the preparation of monthly commentary to explain results
*Preparation of budgets and financial forecasts
*Help ensure overhead costs are accurately recorded, analysed and understood
*Provide constructive challenge and insight to the Regional Management Team
*Support the Regional Head of Finance in understanding in-month cash flows and forecasting future cash requirements, particularly relating to land and build expenditure
*Highlight and challenge areas of poor return on investment
*Develop a deep understanding of each site within the Region
*Explain levels of WIP (both equivalent units and balance sheet values) and raise any particular areas of concern
*Help drive improvements in data quality across the Region
*Support teams in addressing and resolving issues with data submissions
*Build strong working relationships with operational teams to understand performance drivers and support continuous improvement
*Work closely with the Reg
