RG Consultancy are working with an SME in Congleton who are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join them on a part time basis. You will work closely with the Finance Manager and provide support with the day to day transactional duties

Role Responsibilities
*Maintaining purchase ledger - reviewing and processing supplier invoices and payments
*Management of expenses and credit cards and processing receipts.
*Investigating and resolving customer account/invoice queries
*Raising sales invoices accurately and efficiently
*Credit control duties - managing customer accounts, chasing payments
*General bookkeeping tasks on Sage 50 and assisting with bank reconciliations and VAT returns and management accounts for multiple businesses
*Supporting Finance Manager and the wider team with any finance-based queries
*Ad hoc administrative duties as required
Person Specification
*Experience using Excel / Sage50 / Synergist
*AAT qualifications or similar would be an advantage but not essential
*VAT legislation
*Competent dealing with multi-currencies
*Payroll experience would be an advantage
