QA Inspector - Glasgow
We are seeking an experienced QA Inspector to join our Inspection team in Glasgow. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a high-precision manufacturing environment, ensuring the quality and compliance of materials, components, and finished products.
Key Responsibilities:
*Conduct in-process and final inspections of mechanical or manufactured components
*Use precision measuring instruments such as callipers, micrometres, gauges, and CMMs
*Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards
*Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed QA records
*Report non-conformities and assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions
*Support internal audits and participate in continuous improvement activities
*Ensure all work follows health and safety guidelines and company procedures
*Undertake any other duties as required
Qualifications & Experience:
*Previous experience as a QA/QC Inspector in a manufacturing or engineering environment
*Time-served experience is desirable
*Strong understanding of quality inspection techniques and tools
*Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
What’s in it for you?
*Rate: up to £22.01 per hour (dependent on experience)
*Full-time, permanent role, 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Once fully trained, the role moves onto a three-shift rotation (early, back, and night shifts)
