They’re now looking for a Part-Time Finance Assistant to join them three days a week. They’re looking for someone dependable, organised and comfortable managing the day-to-day detail that keeps a business running smoothly.
What will you be doing?
*Processing purchase ledger invoices accurately and ensuring correct coding
*Raising sales invoices and maintaining accurate records
*Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
*Managing payment runs and ensuring supplier terms are met
*Reconciling bank accounts and handling daily banking
*Managing the accounts inbox and responding promptly to supplier and customer queries
*Building strong working relationships with suppliers, customers and internal teams
*Setting up new suppliers and maintaining accurate supplier records
*Reconciling and processing corporate card statements
*Monitoring aged debt and following up overdue customer payments
*Resolving invoice queries with customers when required
*Adding and removing starters and leavers on the system
*Supporting senior leadership with ad-hoc financial tasks
