Job Description:
Geography Teachers - Chester & Surrounding Areas (CH1-CH4)
We are recruiting Geography Teachers to join our secondary schools across the Chester region. Whether you are an ECT looking for a supportive start or an experienced educator ready to take on a leadership role, we have positions that will allow you to put your mark on the map.
What We Look For:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
*Strong subject knowledge across both Physical and Human Geography.
*A valid DBS on the update service (or willingness to get one).
Duties:
*Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons across KS3, KS4.
*Organise and lead high-quality fieldwork opportunities to bring the curriculum to life.
*Monitor and assess student progress using data to provide impactful feedback.
*Develop resources that align with the curriculum and current GCSE specifications.
*Utilise GIS software and digital tools to enhance spatial learning in the classroom.
*Manage classroom behaviour effectively to create a safe and productive learning environment.
*Collaborate with colleagues in the Humanities department to share best practices and resources.
