Job Description:
Compliance Analyst
The RoleThe team provides regulated financial and investment advice to clients across the UK and Europe.
As a Compliance Analyst, you will review financial advice reports to ensure recommendations:
*Are suitable and in the client’s best interests
*Meet FCA (COBS) requirements
*Follow internal standards
Products reviewed include pensions, ISAs, General Investment Accounts, investment bonds (onshore/offshore) and trusts.
Key Responsibilities*Review suitability reports for regulatory and internal compliance
*Request additional information or clarification from internal teams when needed
*Provide constructive feedback to report writers
*Highlight training needs to the Training Program Manager
*Identify and suggest process improvements
*Attend review meetings to discuss common themes and improvements
Requirements*University degree or equivalent experience
*Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (required)
*Level 6 / Chartered status and AF3/G60 PTS (preferred)
*Strong knowledge of financial planning, especially pensions
*Strong understanding of FCA COBS suitability rules
*Experience reviewing retail client recommendations
*Clear written and verbal communication skills
