Job Title:Transport Manager
Location:Dover
Hours: 40 Hours a week (Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:00)
Job Type: Full Time/Permanent
We are delighted to be supporting an expanding company based in Dover, they are looking for a Transport Manager to join their well established team.

Key Responsibilities:
*Effectively manage and coordinate vehicles and a team of drivers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
*Oversee logistics operations, ensuring the smooth flow of transportation processes.
*Develop strategic plans to optimise route planning and improve overall operational efficiency.
*Monitor and maintain compliance with all transportation regulations and safety standards.
*Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure seamless integration of operations.
*Analyse and report on transport performance metrics and implement improvements as necessary.
*Address any driver-related issues, providing support and guidance to ensure high morale and productivity.

Qualifications:
*Strong understanding of transportation management systems
*Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
*Knowledge of safety and compliance regulations in the transport industry.
*CPC card and a minimum of 1 years experience in a similar role is essential
