Are you a reliable and caring individual looking for a rewarding role in a care home? We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established residential care home located on Sandbanks Road, Poole.
About the Home This spacious detached home offers panoramic harbour views from many of its bedrooms. Ideally situated close to Sandbanks and Canford Cliffs, it benefits from excellent transport links, with regular public transport to Poole and Bournemouth directly outside.
Local amenities — including a convenience store, hairdresser, bank, and sailing club — are just yards away, giving residents a strong sense of community connection.
The home features:
*54 elegant single bedrooms, all with en-suite facilities
*Comfortable lounge and dining areas
*Conservatory overlooking the garden
*Modern facilities including hearing loop system and entertainment systems
The Role As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents.
Key Responsibilities: *Cleaning and tidying residents’ rooms and communal areas
*Laundry duties including washing, ironing, and linen management
*Maintaining hygiene and infection control standards
*Reporting maintenance issues as needed
*Supporting a safe and homely environment for all residents
*Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience desirable but not essential
*Reliable, hardworking, and attentive to detail
*Friendly and approachable, with good communication skills
*Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
*£12.80 per hour
*Supportive and friendly working environment
