Position: General Manager
Location: Fitzroy Place, London, W1T 3BP
Working Hours: Monday – Friday
Salary: £75,000 - £85,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Contract: Permanent

Development Details:
This role is based at Fitzroy Place, a prestigious residential development in Fitzrovia comprising 289 apartments. The development features a beautifully landscaped central courtyard, commercial office units, and a restored Grade II listed chapel. Ideally situated, it is within easy walking distance of Oxford Circus and Great Portland Street tube stations.


Key Responsibilities and Requirements:
As a General Manager at Rendall & Rittner, you will:
*Have a 5* luxury background, having worked on high-end residential estates providing exceptional customer service.
*Be responsible for creating bespoke experiences and acting as a "place maker," engaging with residents, curating events, and delivering a personalised feel across the estate. Attention to detail is key, ensuring every initiative adds real value for residents.
*Manage mid-to-large teams, taking responsibility for staffing, training, appraisals, 121s, and other employment-related matters, while fostering a motivated and high-performing team.
*Lead by example, ensuring all team members operate safely, follow SOPs, and maintain compliance with statutory obligations and company policies.
*Take ownership of Health & Safety across the development, conducting regular site inspections, ensuring risk assessments are completed, and statutory compliance is maintained.
*Oversee external contractors and service providers, ensuring high-quality delivery, adherence to contracts, and compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
*Support with the management of budgets and overall expenditure for the development, working closely with the Property Manager to deliver cost-effective solutions.
*Oversee statutory compliance audits and building compliance.
*Manage onsite CAPEX / major works projects.
*Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance, resident satisfaction, and the overall success of the development.
*Build strong working relationships with residents, guests, and external stakeholders, fostering a safe, positive, and collaborative environment.
*Maintain a working knowledge of building maintenance systems and ensure their effective use in supporting operational efficiency.
