The Opportunity
A respected and long-established independent financial advisory firm based in Northampton is seeking a motivated and professional Junior Paraplanner to join their growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their financial planning career who is eager to develop their skills in a supportive and professional environment.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will work closely with some of the senior Financial Planners to support the delivery of high-quality advice to a diverse client base.
Responsibilities will include preparing bespoke financial reports, conducting research, attending client meetings and assisting with client reviews.
This role offers exposure to a wide range of financial planning areas including pensions, investments, protection, and cashflow modelling for HNW clients.
Key Responsibilities
*Prepare suitability reports and recommendation letters.
*Conduct research into pensions, investments, and protection products.
*Attending some client meetings with the planner to help analyse client circumstances and produce cashflow modelling scenarios.
*Work with the admin team to conduct research into pensions, investments, and protection products.
Candidate Skills
Essential:
*Genuine interest in financial planning.
*Strong analytical and communication skills.
*Excellent attention to detail and written accuracy.
Desirable:
*Level 4 Diploma qualified (DipPFS – CII)
*Previous experience in a paraplanning position
*A desire to develop technically and obtain industry qualifications.
