National Sales Manager – Independent Toy & Gift Retail
Location: United Kingdom (remote/field-based)
Role Overview
Lead the growth of the independent toy, gift, and family retail channel across the UK. Own channel strategy, expand the active customer base, increase assortment penetration, build and lead a high-performance sales team, and drive profitable revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute independent retail strategy targeting toy stores, gift shops, garden centres, and specialist formats.
• Acquire new accounts and grow existing ones through range expansion, promotions, and onboarding.
• Recruit, train, and manage field/internal sales team with clear KPIs and coaching.
• Own revenue targets, forecasting, CRM discipline, and vendor/brand collaborations.
• Deliver monthly KPI reports and cross-functional insights.
Requirements
Senior sales leadership in UK toy/gift/FMCG distribution. Proven success building independent networks, scaling teams, and using CRM/data tools. Strong negotiation, coaching, and commercial skills. Entrepreneurial, structured, and growth-driven.
