Job Description:
Bright Selection is delighted to be supporting a specialist, values-led care provider in the appointment of an experienced Deputy Manager for a highly regarded nursing service in Hampshire.
This is a key leadership role within a complex care environment supporting adults living with dementia and mental health needs.
Working closely with the Registered Manager, the Deputy Manager will support the day-to-day clinical and operational leadership of the home, ensuring consistently high standards of safety, compliance, and person-centred care. The position offers a predominantly supernumerary leadership presence with some clinical visibility on shift, providing the opportunity to influence culture, develop teams, and drive continuous quality improvement.
Key Responsibilities *Provide visible clinical leadership to a multidisciplinary team
*Support governance, audits, incidents, and care planning to maintain safe, effective services
*Promote strong compliance aligned to CQC Fundamental Standards
*Contribute to recruitment, supervision, and colleague development
*Build positive relationships with residents, families, and professionals
*Champion safeguarding, medication management, and health & safety
Candidate Requirements *Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN, or RNLD) with active NMC registration
*Proven leadership experience within complex care, neurological, dementia, or mental health services
*Strong understanding of clinical governance and regulatory expectations
*Confident team leader able to coach, motivate, and develop others
*Organised, compassionate, and values-driven approach
The role offers:
