Role: Assistant Transport Manger
Location: Tottenham
Hours: Full time, Monday- Friday
Salary: £41,500
An excellent opportunity has now arisen for an Assistant Transport Manager to join our clients successful team.


Duties of a Assistant Transport Manager:
*Plan routes and allocate resources efficiently
*Support the Transport Manager with daily operations
*Monitor deliveries and resolve issues
*Ensure vehicles are safe, roadworthy and meet Health and Safety standards
*Act as main point of contact for drivers
*Schedule drivers and check compliance
*Handle customer queries and complaints professionally
*Maintain compliance with transport laws and regulations
*Assist with audits, reports and KPI tracking
What we would like from you:
*Experience in transport or logistics, preferably in supervisory role


*Thorough understanding of transport compliance and regulatory requirements
*Class 2 (Cat C) Driving License - required
*Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card
*Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
*Proficient with IT systems, including Excel and transport software
*Strong leadership and communication skills
