HR MANAGER
Salary: up to £42,000 + good benefits

Key Responsibilities
HR Operations & Administration
*Manage day-to-day HR operations, ensuring smooth delivery of HR services across the business
*Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and employee records
*Oversee payroll inputs, absence management, and HR reporting
*Ensure legal compliance with employment law and company standards
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
*Lead end-to-end recruitment processes, including job briefs, advertising, screening, interviewing, and onboarding
*Partner with hiring managers to understand talent needs and workforce planning
*Support development of employer branding and recruitment strategies in competitive markets
Employee Relations
*Act as first point of contact for employee HR queries, providing guidance on HR policies and best practices
*Handle disciplinary, grievance, and performance management cases
*Foster a positive employee experience that encourages engagement and retention
*Coach managers on people management and employee relations issues
People Development & Culture
*Support implementation of training, development, and performance programs
*Contribute to HR initiatives that strengthen culture, wellbeing, and communication
*Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in HR processes and employee engagement initiatives
Skills & Experience Required *4-5 years’ experience in a generalist HR role covering operations, recruitment, and ER
*Experience in manufacturing or retail is highly desirable
*Strong knowledge of HR processes and UK employment legislation
*Confident handling ER cases with professionalism and accuracy
*Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
*Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
*CIPD Level 5 (or working towards) is an advantage
