Job Description:
ADR HGV Class 2 Driver – Temp-to-Perm | Reading
A&G Resourcing Ltd is recruiting experienced ADR HGV Class 2 driver for our busy client based in Reading. This is a Temp-to-Perm opportunity , Monday to Friday with no weekend work!
Requirements:
*Minimum 1 year HGV Class 2 driving experience with no more than 6 points
*Basic ADR training/card required (for transporting goods safely, including hazardous materials)
*Good knowledge of local roads and routes
*Professional, punctual, and safety-conscious attitude
Job Details:
*Type of Work: Multi-drop pallet deliveries to a variety of customers
*Locations: Local and regional deliveries from Reading hub
*Hours: Monday – Friday, 07:00 – 18:00 (1-hour break)
*Guaranteed Hours: 10 hours/day
*Overtime: Paid at time and a quarter for any hours over 10
Key Responsibilities:
*Safely load and unload goods
*Deliver pallets accurately and on time
*Handle paperwork and delivery documentation
*Maintain vehicle in good working order and report any issues
*Provide excellent customer service during deliveries
Pay & Benefits:
*Starting Rate: £16.50/hr+ holiday entitlement
*Permanent Rate: £17.50/hr + holiday entitlement
*Overtime: £20.60-£21.25 after 10 hours/day
