3 Point Recruitment are hiring an Accounts Assistant for a fantastic SME based in Stratford upon Avon!
We are looking for a personable and hard working Accounts Assistant to join a growing SME business. This is a varied, hands on role supporting the day to day finance function, offering exposure across multiple areas of accounts and an excellent opportunity to develop broad accounting experience.
The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records while supporting the smooth running of the finance department.


Key Responsibilities
*Managing the purchase ledger, including processing invoices, supplier payments and resolving queries
*Maintaining the sales ledger, raising invoices and allocating receipts
*Supporting credit control, including customer communication and debt chasing
*Performing bank and balance sheet reconciliations
*Assisting with month end processes and reporting
*Processing expenses and assisting with payment runs
*Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
*Supporting day to day finance administration within an SME environment
*Assisting with ad-hoc finance tasks as required


Skills & Experience
*Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant or similar finance role
*Experience with purchase ledger and sales ledger processes
*Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
*Good Excel and accounting software skills
*Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
*A proactive and team focused approach
