One-to-One Science Tutors Required (Alternative Provision - Wokingham Area)
We are seeking dedicated one-to-one Science tutors, ideally qualified teachers, to provide off-site educational support to students in and around Wokingham who are currently out of mainstream education.
While the primary focus is on KS3 and KS4 Science, tutors should be willing to work with primary-aged pupils where required, depending on placement needs.
This role is particularly well suited to teachers looking to step away from the pressures of mainstream classrooms and move into part-time, flexible work, while continuing to make a meaningful impact through focused, individual support.

About the Role * Part-time, flexible 1-to-1 Science tuition

* Primarily KS3 and KS4, with occasional primary placements

* Students are typically accessing alternative provision

* Off-site education delivered locally within the Wokingham area

* Work available until at least September and likely beyond

Student Profile & Focus Students may present with SEMH needs, anxiety, school refusal, or previous exclusion, and require a calm, consistent, relationship-led approach.
Tuition may include:
* KS3 and KS4 Science (Biology, Chemistry and/or Physics)

* Targeted intervention to close learning gaps

* GCSE preparation where appropriate

* Building confidence in scientific understanding and application

Requirements * Qualified Teacher Status preferred (Science specialism desirable)

* Strong subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4

* Willingness to support primary-aged pupils where required

* Enhanced DBS (Update Service preferred)

* Ability to travel locally

* Experience with SEMH or alternative provision highly desirable

Pay * Rate dependent on experience and qualifications
