Personal Care Assistant (PCA)
rTriibe is seeking compassionate and reliable Personal Care Assistants (PCA) to support pupils within school settings, including mainstream and SEN environments.
Key Responsibilities:
*Provide 1:1 or small group personal care support to pupils
*Assist with toileting, changing, feeding, and mobility needs
*Support pupils with additional learning needs, including SEN and SEMH
*Promote dignity, independence, and wellbeing at all times
*Work closely with teachers and SENCOs to support individual care plans
*Ensure safeguarding and health & safety procedures are followed
Requirements:
*Previous experience in a care or school-based support role
*Comfortable providing personal care
*Patient, empathetic, and professional approach
*Strong communication skills
*Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
*Relevant care or childcare qualification (desirable but not essential)
