Are you an experienced Grants Programme Manager looking to take ownership of a high-profile community grants portfolio within a leading local authority? This is an excellent opportunity to step into a dynamic, impactful role where you’ll lead the full lifecycle of community funding programmes.
The council is seeking a confident, organised, and strategic professional to manage multiple grant streams, including Neighbourhood Community Infrastructure Levy (NCIL) grants. *Oversee and monitor three grant types, ensuring timely delivery and budget compliance
*Provide expert programme management of NCIL grant processes
*Build effective relationships with community groups, councillors, internal teams, and external partners
*Deliver professional presentations to stakeholders at all levels
*Contribute to reporting, analysis, continuous improvement, and high-quality governance
*Support the service during occasional evening and weekend activities
About You

*Confident presenting to diverse audiences — both internally and externally
*Excellent organisational and stakeholder-engagement abilities
*Strong financial awareness and ability to maintain programme targets
*We may also consider candidates with significant grant-programme management experience within medium–large charities
What’s on Offer
*Competitive hourly rates (PAYE & Umbrella options)
*Hybrid arrangement: 3 days in the Wembley office, 2 days remote
*High-impact role shaping community investment and local engagement
