Job Description:
Based in Surrey (Hybrid - 2/3 days in office per week) with regular travel to India.
Our client is an established market-leading property and technology service provider which is digitising the complex process of buying, selling, renting and renovating housing in the UK. A Certified B-Corp, clients are public sector organisations and real estate investors. The company is now looking for an experienced Senior SaaS Product Owner/Manager as they take their prop-tech platform to a wider B2B market beyond the public sector markets they are familiar with. There are also future ambitions to roll the platform out to a wider B2C market. The company is at a stage of significant scale up with contracts secured to deliver a 5-fold increase in services over the next 2 years. With over 500 homes delivered to date, a growing team across the UK and India, our client is entering an exciting new phase of strategic growth.
Role Purpose:
Take full end-to-end ownership of our client’s SaaS platform. Set and own product vision, roadmap, and delivery. Operate across the UK-based leadership team and an India-based engineering team. Build a scalable B2B platform with a clear path to future B2C expansion.
Core Responsibilities:
Product Ownership
*Full accountability for product strategy, roadmap, and performance.
*Translate commercial and user needs into clear product direction.
*Own prioritisation, backlog, acceptance criteria, and release outcomes.
*Define and track product KPIs and north-star metrics.
*Work with the UK Sales & Marketing team and integrate customer feedback.
B2B and B2C Strategy
*Lead B2B product strategy for councils, housing associations, and investors.
*Design a staged transition toward B2C without undermining B2B users.
*Balance short-term delivery with long-term platform evolution.
Remote Delivery Leadership
*Work daily with an India-based software engineering team.
*Establish clear delivery rhythms across time zones.
*Travel regularly to India to support planning and execution.
*Act as the single source of product clarity for offshore teams.
Discovery and Execution
*Lead user discovery and validation.
*Convert insight into high-quality product specifications.
*Ensure delivery quality, usability, and commercial relevance.
Stakeholder Leadership
*Report directly to the Chief Product Officer (Surrey based).
*Act as product authority internally.
*Challenge assumptions and remove low-value work.
Ideal Candidate Profile / Required Experience:
*Senior Product Owner or Product Manager on a live SaaS platform.
*Strong B2B SaaS experience.
*Proven experience working with remote or offshore engineering teams.
*Comfortable owning complex, data-driven platforms.
*London/Surrey based (Hybrid - 2/3 days in office per week) with regualr travel to India
Sector Experience:
*PropTech, data platforms, or marketplaces.
*Experience delivering or scaling B2C SaaS products.
*Public-sector or regulated-market exposure.
Practical Requirements:
